Cannot design the page 'Spun'!!!

Hi, not sure if anyone can help :/o
I am new to all this and find it EXTREMELY difficult to set up the demo-design ‘Spun’.(https://spundemo.wordpress.com/) Even though it’s apparently an easy Webdesign….Tried to upload my own photos and some personal content/posts. Nothing comes together. Not even sure how to start to get it to look like ‘the demo Spun’. It’s very unclear to me!
Any help?
Or is there a video-walk-through for Spun? (just to set-up the basic design….)Daniela

Here’s an excerpt:
Theme Options
Spun includes several options, which you can find under Customizer → Theme Options. They allow you to tweak the theme’s appearance to your tastes:Always show color circles: Check this box if you’d prefer colored featured images instead of grayscale.
Always show post titles over circles: Check this box if you always want your post titles to appear on the home, archive, and search pages.
Fully opaque meta: By default, your site’s header, footer, navigation, and post meta appear faded until you hover over them. If you prefer opaque text there, check this box.I enjoy trying out new themes, some of them do require more setting up than others, let me know if you need more info on setting it up.

Keeping in mind that ‘circles’ won’t appear until you have created some posts. (as it appears the ‘featured image‘ is used for the posts)
More on Posts and Pages The wordpress support section is very easy to ‘search’ for whatever you need to do also.
