Cannot display latest article in home page

  I have been having a problem for the last couple of months, a post that I wrote in December 2014 seems to be stuck to my home page, and all the newer posts are coming up below it. How can I change it back to having the latest post on the top ? I am using pilcrow as a theme, and I don’t remember making any changes to my settings. The settings still shows that the latest post should be at the top.

  Hi there. You most probably set that post as sticky, which means it will always appear at the top of you feed until you unstick it. https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts

  Go to the WP-Admin dashboard and click on Posts ->All Posts. Find that post in the list and click on Quick Edit and uncheck the box next to “Make this post sticky”. Update the post. Then it shouldn’t appear at the top of your feed anymore.

  If the post isn’t set to sticky, let us know.
