Cannot Edit A Few Images from Edit Media Page within Media Library

  • Unknown's avatar

There are a FEW images in the Media Library that cannot be edited. Most of the images can be edited, but there are a few that display no editing fields, like crop, rotate, scale, etc., once clicking through the Edit Image button at the bottom of the image. Also, these particular images do not display a thumbnail in the Library’s directory. Additionally, there are no scaled files that typically auto-generate and store in the wp-content/uploads/… folders. All images in the Library have been uploaded in the exact same manner. They are all jpg extensions and they are all compliant with size and protocol definitions.

I have made the following troubleshooting recommendations: Clear Cache, Change Themes, Deactivate Plugins, Checked Permission Codes, Re-Install WP. None of these have remedied the issue.

Hoping someone can advise on the matter.

    Thanks!
