Cannot Edit Header Image

  I am using the free WordPress platform and want to change the header image, but seem to be unable to do so. Sometimes the image will fade and look like it is loading, but the image never changes from the default. I even tried creating a new site and changing that header image, but did not have luck there either. I’ve tried using photos saved on my computer as well as photos from the internet. It feels like this is a glitch but maybe I am just doing something wrong?

  Hi –

  Can you tell me which browser you are using and the version number? Does it need an update?

  Next, how is your internet connection? Does the issue continue from a different connection?

  I see that daadrise.wordpress.com is using the Lodestar theme. Each theme has specific setup instructions. Here are the ones you’ll want to use: wordpress.com/themes/lodestar/

  I am using the most updated version of Google Chrome, version 57.0.2987.133.

  The problem still occurs whether or not I am using my university wifi network or my at-home wifi network (stronger)

  Thanks for that information. To clarify, is it the city scape image behind “Daad Rise” that you need help with? Which image do you want to use in its place?

  Yes it is the cityscape image that I’d like to replace. Here is a link to an image I’d like to use. I tried to find one that was pretty large..
