Cannot edit image galleries after publishing

Hi,
I’m using the Forever theme. While it is easy enough to create an image gallery using the standard procedure, I cannot drag and reorder images in edit mode (meaning I must add images to the gallery in the order I want them to appear) and once published it is impossible to edit the gallery. When editing the post in visual mode I cannot make the edit function work for the gallery. If I want to make any changes I have to delete the gallery and start over. Can anyone help?

First of all make sure that you are editing your post in what is now called the “Classic” Post Editor, the one in your site’s Dashboard at megandcharliegetmarried.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ and not the New Dash New Post Editor. Then go to Dashboard>Posts>All Posts, then click on the Edit link below the name of the post you want to Edit.
When in the Post, click anywhere in the area where the Gallery appears and you should see a pencil icon appear in the upper left corner of the Gallery area. Click on it and you will be taken to the Edit Gallery screen where you should be able to drag and drop your Gallery images into the order you want them to appear.
