cannot edit images already uploaded to post

  Recently cannot edit images already uploaded to post, e.g. cannot move/add/delete images in Gallery, cannot resize images etc.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I was able to successfully edit the images on your post “DNCB Outing No. 2014-29 to Serpentine Fen”. Can you let me know if you’re having trouble with that post or point me to another post on your blog where you are still having trouble?

  When I go to edit that post (or the previous one 2014-28 which has more images to play with) I can select & edit the single photo (of a group of people) BUT am unable to select the Gallery (6 photos) in order to rearrange the images, or add/delete images, or change the type of Gallery. I have been doing this type of editing for a couple of years, just noticed the change today – though someone today who has a WordPress blog told me about this problem today. I use Macintosh computer with OS 10.6.8, and Firefox 30.0 browser.
  BTW, I did not receive notification of your followup post, despite checking the box.

  Wow, I might have resolved it! In checking the Firefox version, there was a link “click to update” – after posting the previous message, I clicked the link, which gave me version 31.0 – and now I see the missing editing features (pecil & X icons) again for those Galleries!

  …BUT when I click the “Pencil” icon it does NOT take me back to where I can edit the photos! Still unresolved…

  So when I use Google Chrome browser (36.0.1985.125), I can actually edit the WordPress Gallery. There must be some “Preference” setting in my Firefox that needs to be changed – can you help?

  Hey Ken,

  Thanks for the detailed report. We’re actually experiencing some issues with editing galleries in Firefox. There’s actually a common thread about it here:

  That’s great to know that you aren’t experiencing trouble in Chrome. I’ll let you know as soon as the Firefox issues are resolved!

  Chrome is not my default browser – all my bookmarks (& sign-up protocols for WordPress) are on Firefox, so I had a few anxious moments trying to remember those username/password combos for Chrome! Should I join the “editing photo galleries in Firefox” forum, or just wait for a solution?
