Cannot edit menu items
-
Today I cannot edit any of my menus items in any of my WordPress.com blogs. I have about a half dozen active blogs and have used WordPress for many years. Up until yesterday all the menus worked fine.
Today all I can do is move a menu item to sub-item status. The little down arrow is missing from menu items.
My blog at http://socialwellness.wordpress.com/ is an example but this is happening on ALL my WordPress blogs.
At first I thought it was just due to problems with a new theme I was trying out for a new blog but when I checked my other blogs they all have the same problem today.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s strange. Are all the blogs wearing the same theme?
Have you tried troubleshooting to eliminate browser related issues?
If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com please do these four things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache: http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies and JavaScript enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654
3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
If it’s still happening, let us know exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/ and also post any error reports you get.

All the blogs have different themes.
I am going through the process of the things on your list but I changed nothing since yesterday when the menus worked.
-
Please update us when you are done and also provide the blog URLs if you do not find a solution.

I am not the only person who has reported this problem this morning.
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/edit-menu-page-no-down-arrow-to-the-right-of-menu-itemsI have checked all the items on your list and comply. HTTPS was not enabled but I enabled it and it made no difference. My browser is Firefox 21.
Everything else in my admin sections for all my blogs works fine. Only the edit menu items doesn’t work.

The edit arrow is there but it’s invisible!
When I click on where it SHOULD be I do get the drop down edit menu.I discovered this by accident when testing moving menu items around and I noticed my cursor changed as I passed over where the arrow should be. Could this be something to do with your recent revisions?
I’d still like the little down arrow back.

That’s so weird. I agree that the little arrow needs to be brought back or “unhidden” and I have tagged this this thread for Staff attention. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Rick,
Are you using Firefox version 21 on Windows 7? Could you open one of your blogs’ dashboards in Chrome or IE10 and see if you see the same issue? -
Yes I am using Firefox version 21 on Windows 7.
I also just tested it with IE 10 and Chrome Version 27.0.1453.116 m.
The little edit arrows now appear on the menu items in all three browsers.
Thanks!
