Cannot Edit my Site
-
Hello,
My site automatically includes items at the bottom of the page that are undesirable or unaesthetic. One is a section labeled ‘Most Popular.’ The other says ‘Recent Posts.’
I was in the ‘Trance’ theme customization menu and I found a whole section labeled ‘Most Popular.’ I went into this menu and there was a button ‘disable most popular.’ I checked it and the ‘Most Popular’ section continues to appear.More importantly, I cannot edit the font colors and sizes on either of these sections. They do not match colors, which makes no sense. And the ‘recent posts’ includes some lead copy. This is fine but the lead copy is a bad font color.
Does anyone know how to fix these things?

Hi there!
I don’t see any sites under your account, what’s the address of the site you’re working on?
Please note that these forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If your site is using the open-source WordPress.org software, we won’t be able to help you out and you’ll want to seek help at these forums:

Hello,
I am at http://www.spectralskullsession.com
I have no idea if I am open-source wordpress.org. I bought the site through IONOS and asked them to set it up as a WordPress site.

Hi,
As fresatomica suspected, it looks like your site is using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but is hosted with another webhost.
We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us here at WordPress.com. For help with a WordPress site hosted elsewhere you’ll need to ask over at the WordPress.org forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
Depending on the level of support that is included with your hosting plan, your webhost’s support team may also be able to assist.
If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the open-source WordPress software you can read this article:
