Cannot edit my website

  I have had my WordPress web site since 2017/18 and put in alot of time( many days ) into its initial creation. On going to edit it recently after a couple of years I realised I was unable to edit it so did a password reset. On putting in my email address I received info and reset password . But then ,rather than seeing my website to edit it was not there but just a ‘ create your site ‘.

  I am pretty sure I did not use another email and if so then I know it not now.

  I can prove its me as the website is all my own work . Help please
