Cannot edit page on wordpress.com

I have several blogs, and this is just an example. Yesterday, I was able to edit pages and posts easily, but today I get a blank page when I attempt to open a page to edit. This happens on all blogs I access. One blog is free, and another is premium and they use different themes. I’ve never seen this before. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks,

Update. My browser is Firefox and it updated to 89.0.2 yesterday. I switched to Chrome and problem disappeared.

Hi there! We’re glad you were able to find a working solution. If you try again through Firefox, is the problem resolved as well? If not, could you try clearing the cache in Firefox and let us know if that resolves it?
Last question: Are you on Mac or PC? And which OS version?

Thanks for followup.
I still get the error message ‘This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed’, but that’s intermittent. Sometimes I can edit a page and sometimes not. I’ve not had the problem with other browsers. I am using Win 10 Home on 64-bit PC. I hope you’re able to resolve the issue. I had no problems prior to the Firefox upgrade to 89.0.2. That error message I mentioned was sometimes happening when I made the original post.

Thanks for the additional details. You might be having the same issue that a few other folks are seeing here related to the Firefox browser.
I’ve added your report to our internal tracking for this issue and our development team will start investigating the issue. I won’t have a timeline or ETA as to when this will be fixed, so in the meantime you should use Chrome to avoid this issue.
If you end up having trouble in Chrome as well, please let us know!
