Cannot Edit PAGES

Not having a problem with POSTS but changes to PAGES are not being saved.

What is your operating system?
What browser and version of it are you using?
Have you tried a forced reload? http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/09/06/force-refresh/ -
No one else having this issue?
I’m on a Mac using Firefox.
I edit the page, SAVE, and nothing happens. I can edit a post, SAVE, and it works fine.

I’ve had this happen. Go to the manage pages page and select “draft” from the “status” pulldown and hit filter and see if it shows up. If it does, select “edit from the columns at the right and off you go. Typically after that it will be OK.
If it doesn’t show up in the draft-filtered manage pages page then I’m lost. One thing I always do before saving a page or a post, is to do a select all (cmd-A) and then do a copy (cmd-C) before hitting the save button. That way if it goes away, I can simply paste it back into the edit field on the write post page.
Also, make sure you are using the latest version of FF – 2.0.0.7 I think it is.
Another thing, I typically use the “save and continue editing” button instead of the “save” button.

Thanks all. Now this works sometimes and others not. Really strange but I can’t figure out the pattern. Will try it again tomorrow and I’m sure it’ll be fine.

The trick seems to be this.. log off and come back after a few hours… but note that you only have one chance at saving the page… after that any additional saves will have no effect.
