Cannot embed from web-based apps

  I am teaching students to use a variety of web-based apps including jux.com, haikudeck.com, infogr.am, and more. I have tried to create an example of each of the above and to embed them into the class blog as a demonstration of what I want them to do on their own blogs. Embed codes from the sites do not work. Instructions from WordPress that state putting the URL in a line of its own do not work. I have Googled and searched and cannot find how to do the simple task I see on others’ blogs.

  A lot of code will not work on WordPress.COM for security reasons and is stripped out.

  You are probably seeing instructions for WordPress.ORG installs.
