cannot embed youtube video

  I’ve read the instructions on the support forums and I have done as indicated: copied the URL from the YouTube video I’m watching; pasted it on it’s own line with nothing before it; clicked ”unlink” and I still don’t see a video in visual mode or when I publish. I see the link as written (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjFIlxPs-Ys) but I have to click on it in order to view the video.
  I thought of trying short code but I’m not sure where in the code to put the the URL of the video.
