Cannot even schedule support because WP keeps telling me I don’t have a website. I do have a website and I am currently logged in and using it!!

When I try to contact support to schedule a session, I get a screen with this message: ‘You don’t have any WordPress sites yet. Would you like to start one?’ This message is stumping me everywhere I turn. I have an active site and need to figure this out, but I can’t even schedule a session because when I try, WP doesn’t recognize me, even though I am currently logged in and using it daily. Please help!

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Unknown

Hello, I am not a WordPress technician. But, if you have not tried this link, it may help you get in touch with the right people. https://wordpress.com/help/contact

What is the URL of your site? Are you sure you are logged in to the account owning that site?

Thank for the help. When I try to fill out the contact form, as soon as I put my url in, I get this message:

“Just Being Bing is linked to another WordPress.com account. If you’re trying to access it, please follow our Account Recovery procedure.”

    FYI, my url is https://justbeingbing.com.

I don’t know if somehow there is an older login that is causing it to make it look like I don’t have a site, or what.

Here’s the thing: I can open a new tab on my browser, put my url in with the wp-admin ending, and go to my website no problem.

If I then click on “my site” and “my home”, I get the message that I don’t have any WordPress sites.

However, if I scroll to the bottom of that side menu and choose “dashboard”, then I can go to the dashboard with no issues and work on my site from there. It exists there IN FULL.

I think what I really need is to be able to do a session with a wordpress person, but because the form requires the url and for some reason it has this problem, the system won’t accept my request.

I’m afraid to go through any type of recovery process or anything because I know so little and I cannot risk doing anything that jeapordizes my site.

Are you attempting to get support via this WordPress.com account? You may be accessing your site via a WordPress.com account and the Jetpack plugin but support here is supplied only for sites that are hosted here too. Your site is hosted at Bluehost and uses a different version of wordpress to sites here. If you don’t have a plan with Bluehost that includes wordpress support then your only option is to register an account and ask for advice at

    Hi there!

The site at justbeingbing.com is not hosted by us at WordPress.com at the moment. I see that you used to own this domain through us and you had a WordPress.com site with this domain at some point in the past, but as of now, the domain is registered elsewhere and the site it loads is hosted by Bluehost.

Your site right now uses the WordPress.org software. We provide support for WordPress.com sites on this forum. As you moved your site to Bluehost, you’re now using the WordPress.org software and your site is no longer hosted by us.

There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it well: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.

You aren’t able to purchase or schedule a quick start support session with us because those sessions are for WordPress.com sites only. As of now, you don’t have any WordPress.com site.

If you need help with your WordPress.org site, you can contact Bluehost support. If they refer you to WordPress support, please post on the WordPress.org support forum here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums

    Regards
