Cannot figure out how to revert from a custom menu to the default menu.

I want to delete a custom menu, make my current dynamic home page into a static homepage, and move my posts to a new page. I have read a range of materials about this and cannot figure it out.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

I want to delete a custom menu

I see that the custom menu you created is not actually active on your site, and instead the default menu (which shows all pages on your site) is what is displaying there instead. Is this as you wish, or do you mean that you want no menu to be visible to visitors to your site?

…make my current dynamic home page into a static homepage, and move my posts to a new page

No problem. WordPress.com is configured out-of-the box to display your blog posts as your “home” page, but to convert your blog to a website is often just as simple as setting a static page to be “home” instead, and then moving your blog posts to a different page instead.

The steps to do this are outlined here: http://learn.wordpress.com/bonus-round-get-a-home-page/

Let me know if you get stuck along the way, and I’ll be happy to help out.

Hello. Thanks for your help. I’ve reconfigured my website and blog just the way I want them.
