CANNOT FIND DOMAIN ADMINISTRATION
-
Where is the domain administration? Please do not refer me to the page that tells me to find the domain administration in the store under domains because that is why I am asking where it is. Just a straight forward answer would be great.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

-
Unless you have purchased domains through the store, you will not have access to domain administration. The site you listed, elohime5.wordpress.com is not currently mapped to any domain.
-
This is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog http://cityonahill.weebly.com/ It’s weebly site and we don not provide support for it here at WordPress.com
-
I didn’t add the elohime5.wordpress.com to my question it was added on automatically. I have a wordpress blog and need to know where the domain administration is, does it really need to be this hard? Just tell me where it is!
-
eloime5: what is the domain that you are trying to administer? Where the administration is depends on how it is set up.
-
@elohime5
I did not refer to elohime5.wordpress.comI said: This is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog http://cityonahill.weebly.com/ It’s weebly site and we don not provide support for it here at WordPress.com
Please post the URL starting with http:// to the blog in question if it isn’t http://cityonahill.weebly.com/
-
timethief I am not saying you were referring to elohime5.wordpress.com, that was andrewcpht. I am not referring to either elohime5.wordpress.com or to the weebly site. You don’t need to know what my site is, I just need to know where the domain administration is! PLEASE!
-
You specify that we cannot post a link to the domain information you need. Then you state you will not provide the URL. Well if you do not provide the URL we cannot help you.
-
elohime5: we are asking for information in order to help you. As I said, in order for us to help you determine how to administer the domain, we do need to know which domain is involved. We are volunteers who do not have access to your account.
If you are unable or unwilling to provide us with the information we have asked for, we are unable to help you.
-
Sorry for getting impatient. This shouldn’t be this hard. The transfer domain instructions say to find the Domain Administration.
So, I’m not asking for a link to my domain info, I already have that. I am asking you to tell me where to find “Domain Administration” .
Please do not refer me to the page that tells me to find the domain administration in the store under domains because it is not there.
-
Did you register the domain with WordPress.com or with another registrar (such as godaddy or namecheap)? If it’s registered with WordPress.com, the page you’re referring to is correct. If it is registered with another registrar, you access the domain administration through that company’s website.
-
The wordpress blog I started is registered at wordpress and I am going to move it elsewhere and just need to know where to find the Domain Admin option but when I go to Store and Domains there is no option for Domain Administration. How is that correct?
-
There are no domain registrations under your account. What domain name are you referring to?
-
Just to be clear, when we talk about a domain, we are referring to something like “yourname.com”, not “yourname.wordpress.com” when we say domain, right?
If the domain was registered with WordPress.com, and you are logged into the same username as when you registered it, you should see it there. The fact that you do not tells me one of those things isn’t true.

Until you provide the URL starting with http:// we cannot be of any specific help to you.

You must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered any blog who is the Admin of the blog and who purchased the upgrade to access it.
Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers.

-
elohime5, there are no domain registrations under your account, so as far as I know, you’re trying to transfer nothing.
If you can’t tell me what domain name you’re trying to transfer, I can’t help you.
-
any blog who is the Admin of the blog and who purchased the upgrade to access it.
Why couldn’t you just say I have to have purchased an upgrade to begin with.
Thank you
