cannot find footer editor with update of wordpress 6.5

  have not edited the information on footer for a long time ? and now cannot find the ‘editor’, or footer, or header information on the newer WordPress web editing tools, not on APPEARANCE or PATTERN or MENU, OR WIDGET???? mystery….please advise how to find footer editing in my account…thanks…. might it be the THEME that we have used? it is sort of a dinosaur custom THEME…..thanks…@ ….. (email visible only to moderators and staff)
