cannot find login page

    Hello, I work for a company that has lost access to the website horsemedicinelodge.com. I guess the guy who built it, isn’t the last person to manage it and the last company to manage it didn’t provide the owner with all the credentials… it’s messy. Is there any way you can help me figure this out?

    Hi there,

    I can see your site is not hosted on WordPress.com and uses open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and this forum is focused on sites hosted on WordPress.com.

    The WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites are completely different: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org

    However, Your login page can be found here: http://horsemedicinelodge.com/wp-login.php

    In case the admin name or password doesn’t work, you can reset the password by clicking on the “Lost password” link.

    WordPress.com has no control over sites hosted elsewhere, so your hosting provider may be able to help you if you are still having problems.

    Hi amiteshg93,

    When you access that login page does it work? I get a 404, so I’m just curious. I had tried that URL previously, I’ve tried pretty much everything including reaching out to our hosting provider… might have to reach out to them again!

    Thank you for the clarification, I had forgotten all about .com and .org for WP.
