Cannot find my blog after I logged in to WordPress

Hi there. I log in at wordpress.com but I when I am at my account management page and I click on My Site (top right corner), it shows that I have no wordpress site. But I do have one wordpress site under this set of user ID and password. I have not logged in for a long time, so I don’t remember how I used to meddle with it. Now I want to find my blog and delete it. Any advice? Many thanks!

The My Sites at the top left of the Admin bar only show your “visible” sites. You can see if the site appears under My Blogs in the WP admin Dashboard. Go to https://mysite.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs replacing mysite with the correct username.
If you need to recover that username/password, you will need to use the account recovery process: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
The only person who can delete a site here is the person who registered the site on WordPressdotcom. No one else can.

Hi, justjennifer. Glad that you got your caffeine fix in time. Thanks for your advice. I followed your instruction (added “/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs” to my wordpress site address), but I was brought to a page that showed me this:
User theinscriber Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested
You are logged in as “theinscriber” and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “[my wordpress blog site]”. If you are not “theinscriber”, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are “theinscriber” and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.
I don’t get it. I’m already logged in. Why does it say I don’t have access to my blog? It doesn’t make sense. WordPress totally confounds me.

That’s a pretty good sign that you’re not logged in with the account you need to be.
I’ve tagged this thread for Staff attention. But meantime, please give us the full URL of the WordPressdotcom site you are referring to.

That would be https://fortuitousbewilderments.wordpress.com. But I used the same email address to log in and I have only 1 wordpress account. What’s gone wrong? Anyway, thanks heaps for your help.
