Cannot find my blog on the net at large..

  I launched my blog yesterday and cannot see any sign of it on the internet. I can only pull up the site when..I go to wordpress.com and request it. Is there a problem?? My friend who has a similar site…when I insert her name her bolg shows up as soon as I search for it..

  It could be several weeks before it shows up in search engines and even then, a lot depends on content.
