Cannot find my domain website in WordPress!!
-
Hi there, I registered my Domain with Blacknight Solutions and in the package deal, I was given WordPress to build the associated Domain account website, ionadesigns.ie
I logged into my WordPress account today for the first time and began building the website for ionadesigns.ie. At approximately 4:42pm today, I received an email from (email visible only to moderators and staff) to my gmail account (email visible only to moderators and staff) and in this email it stated
‘Hi ionabusiness2023_ha654804,This notice confirms that your password was changed on My CMS.
If you did not change your password, please contact the Site Administrator at

Now, I don’t remember changing the password or perhaps I made two WordPress accounts today by mistake. Anyways, now when I log into WordPress my domain website is no longer there and WordPress is asking me to buy a domain.
Can someone please help me? Have I made two WordPress accounts by mistake or has my domain account been hacked?WP.com: Unknown
Jetpack: Unknown

Howdy –
Unfortunately, we can’t provide much help.
Looking at that site I can see it’s hosted on blacknightdns.com . It’s not using our managed hosting environment from WordPress.com.
For help, I would contact them first. Otherwise, there’s a volunteer network available for folks who run their own WordPress installations, which is how you’re set up. That is available at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
On WordPress.com our team offers a managed hosting environment. This means that we handle all the back end details of the site. Things like back ups, updates, security, spam, seo, ssl, mobile optimization, top notch hosting specs, and sorting out any errors or bugs that pop up along the way. When you run a stand alone WordPress installation, like what y’all have set up, then all of those details fall on to you – so instead of being able to focus on content you spend a ton of time and frustration fixing these sort of issues.
All of our hosting plans are available on https://wordpress.com/pricing/ If you think a managed environment is a better setup for the project and your experience level then we can talk more about how to move your site over and what’s involved with that process.
