    Hello;

    If I go directly to my Blog site (dikayo.wordpress.com) I can see all my posts but if i try searching from wordpress.com “search bar” by tags or categories, my posts aren’t there.

    Can anyone please help me out?

    http://dikayo.wordpress.com

    Always put the http part in, so it makes the link live and clickable.

    Have you done a search for getting left off the tag pages? There are lots of possible reasons and a thread on that topic on the front page of the forum right now.

    The thing that strikes me is, your posts are not recent. Have you looked far enough back in the tag and category pages? ALL of the more recent posts will be in front of yours; your most recent post appears to have been on the fifth of June! You’ll be pages and pages back in the listings.

    Hi;

    Yes, my posts aren’t recent since they were posted on my website’s site. Today I imported them into WP so they are still “old” but new to this site.

    I understand that recent posts will be before mine but still, my posts dont appear in the date ranges they were created.

    Any ideas?

    Yes, did you do that search?

    Raincoaster;

    Thanks for your patience… what is “that search”?

    I have tried to punch it many of my -tags- on the main WP search box. I get many many blogs and entries that apparently used related tags but after looking at all the results pages, i just cannot find mine.

    However, if i type my name (dikayo) on that main search box, i get one result.

    I guess something is wrong with my setup or something.

    Please tell me what do you think.

    Thanks!

    No, I mean have you searched the forum for threads on this topic? There are many. You can also click on the related tags in the sidebar of the forum, like Tags.

    Ok;

    I found an answer from yourself in another thread: “Your post will show up once your blog is indexed in a few days.”

    I will wait and see that they appear next week.

    Thanks!!

    Hello;

    It’s been a week since I signed up to WP and imported my posts onto my blog. Word Press still doesnt find my posts if I search by tags. I can enter directly to my blog’s site but cannot find if I search for it.

    Needless to say, my traffic and comments are 0.

    Please help me out, I would like my blog to be visible at least to WP users.

    Thanks!

    I’m seeing you on the global tag page http://wordpress.com/tag/bad-person/

    Also try not to put more than maybe a dozen tags because you can be bumped off the global tag page for what they call “spamming”.

    Hello and thanks for answering…

    I can click in the link you submitted and i see my entrie(s) but if i start from the WP welcome page and I type in the tag “bad person” in the search box, I dont see my posts.

    I guess I am doing something wrong. Can you please explain how did you first find me?

    Thanks!

    Oh I thought your tags weren’t showing at first and now were suddenly showing when I saw them. But I found you on this thread and not through searching tags. Maybe contact support when they’re open and ask.

    If i type my tags in the WP search box, I cannot find my blog or entries.

    That is the problem.

    My blog is invisible because neither thru tags, nor thru categories is ‘findable’ to the public and bloggers.

    I would like to solve this and become visible and findable.

    If anybody knows -how to- please let me know.
