Cannot find my site for which we have a custom domain
-
Hi,
We had about 250 blog posts on it under the web address of recycleforlewisham.com. Our custom domain redirect expired and when we tried to renew it looks like the website in wordpress.com has disappeared .
Can you help?

Hi Paddy –
Thanks for writing in to us. I’m happy to take a look at this and help get things sorted.
The domain mapping pointing this domain to WordPress.com has expired from the account. I can restore it.
The account you’re signed in to here, paddyswift, is not the right account though. Please sign in to the recycleboy account and we can get this fixed up.

Hi Liz,
Myself and our Web manager Sandi – tried to reset the password on recycleboy account, but we did not received any automated emails to the email addresses we have access to or monitor ((email visible only to moderators and staff) or (email visible only to moderators and staff)) . We think that it is possible that the email address associated with this account be different – maybe one of a colleague that left our organisation.
Could you suggest how to move this forward? What do we need to do to verify our recycleboy account or change the email address associated with it?
Thank you,
Paddy

If one of you paid for the domain, you would be able to recover the account with the transaction id.
Here is how you go about finding that information: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transaction-id/
Next, you would fill out the account recovery form using that ID. DO NOT place that ID here in the forums though. These are public and that is a unique key to that account. We don’t want the whole world to have access to it.

Hi Liz,
Thanks for this. Yes – we have found a transaction ID on an email invoice and found out what email address is associated with he account. We do not have access to that email address anymore so I would recover the account using transaction ID.
Thank you,
Paddy

Awesome :) We will reply to the email request from the account recovery submission as soon as possible. Hang tight until you hear back from us there.

hello, I moved my personal domain name to a new site and now my WordPress.com has disappeared.
How do I find the wordpress.com url to access my site, I do not want to transfer my WordPress.com site. I am using both, but can access, since I forwarded my domain name to another site. I just want the generic domain name for WordPress.com. thank you
