Cannot follow other blogs on Reader

Hi,
I have never had this problem before, but now when I try to follow other blogs on the WordPress.com Reader, I get an error message in red. Is this because I did not want to see sites that had overlapping unreadable text and blocked them?
Don’t know what’s going on, but my Following list is thinning out and I want to follow new people. Thanks for any help.

Actually, I should let you know: I’m getting the red error message when I attempt to follow anyone, but it doesn’t actually seem (?) to be stopping me from following anyone (I just saw a couple of posts from new blogs pop up on the Reader).

Hi! Would you be able to share a bit more about the error you’re seeing? As far as I can see you should definitely be able to follow sites/blogs in the Reader! If you have a chance to take a screenshot of the error that can help us check it over too.
