Cannot get a refund and wordpress is not returning my support emails!

    Hi,

    I have cancelled my premium account within the allocated time – as I realised that wordpress.com did not provide the functionality I needed.

    I have not received a refund or any communication from wordpress.

    I have sent two emails to support – with no replies. I do not know who to speak to.

    Please help.

    My blog was treasurehuntingaussie.com.

    Hi Petra,

    I can cancel that Premium plan for you. Since you used the plan to register the domain name treasurehuntingaussie.com you have two options:

    1. I can cancel everything (the plan and the domain) and issue a full refund of A$129. Please keep in mind that if you cancel a domain you won’t be able to use it at all anymore, so only do that if you never want to use that domain again with any host.

    2. I can cancel just the plan, and not the domain. In that case, I can issue a refund of A$95 (that’s A$129 minus A$34 for the domain name treasurehuntingaussie.com and private registration).

    With the second option, you’ll be able to keep using the domain — if you want to use it with a different website host, you can Move Your Domain to Another Host.

    Please let me know which you prefer and I can take care of that for you!

    Hi Petra,

    Thanks for confirming. I canceled and fully refunded that Premium plan and domain for you. It may take some time for that refund to appear on your bank statement, but you can find the refund receipt now in your Billing History.

    Please let me know if I can do anything more to help!
