cannot get access to my 10+ year old website
-
I have decade old personal website for a scholarship that I run. I basically update it once per year (May/June). I cannot access it to update. When I login to my gmail account associated with this website, it is treating me like I am new WordPress. No history.
Until Dec 2024, I was getting monthly usage updates. I lack any billing, 2-step authentication, or related documentation to prove I own this website to recover. Not sure how to proceed.
Side note that might be important: In the past two years, my job has moved my work/professional website onto WordPress. I can access and edit this website.

Perhaps you have another email address connected to that site after all? But perhaps it would be easier to log in with username and password??

My original email and username (from 2017) still work on WordPress, but I no longer get the dashboard to make edits. I can only go to the website as anyone else can.
How do regain access to the dashboard? -
You created the account coreywelchiowastate only 8 years ago so it cannot own a site older. As the @themagicrobot already said, you must have another and older account. Just lease a comment on that site and check all of your emailadresses. Once found, you know which emailaddress is connected to that site
