Cannot get custom links or category links to show on Twenty Eleven custom menu

  I recently switched my theme to the new Twenty Eleven theme. I had my custom menu set up before the switch, and I could get custom links to display.

  After the switch I could no longer get custom or category links to display. In particular, under the ‘Resume’ page, I have added a category link for posts categorized as ‘Praise’ but after saving and refreshing, it does not show up.

  No worries, your custom menu is still there!

  Here’s how to re-enable it:

  • Go to Appearance > Menus (from your blog’s Dashboard)
  • In the Theme Locations module, select your menu ‘topNav’, then click the Save button

  All done! :)
