Cannot get Forever theme to display correctly

  I am trying to get the four most recent posts to display under my menu like in the demo version of the “Forever” theme. I have this option checked in the “theme options” but it is not displaying them. I have more than 4 posts, so that is not the issue. Anybody know why it is not working properly?
