Cannot get links to work at all

  I used the instructions on wordpress to create links, and I have tried on my Mac with Camino and on my PC with Firefox. I cannot even get the example one to work when I copy and paste it. What could I be doing wrong? Is it the template I may have? I have searched through all these posts and tried to do everything recommended and it still shows up as a sentence starting with <a href. . ., and you cannot click on it. It remains a sentence. Any help? Thanks!

  Okay, my husband was able to help me out and found the “code” tab in the posting window which lets me click “link”. So much easier than the instructions on the FAQs! Thanks for the help though!
