Cannot get my page published

I am putting up a blog, and not the first one. Something really odd has happened and I don’t understand why. I am using WP and the Atahualpa theme. It’s like my admin interface has gone mad. I want a website with only static pages. Therefore, I wrote a home page. I also choose it to show under settings/reading and published it. But now, it does not show (“Not Found. Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here”.). When opening the page is Admin, there are only three options available: Scheduled, Pending Review and Draft. When opening settings/reading the option of choosing a post or a static page has disappeared. Instead the options are: “Blog pages show at most ??? posts”, “Syndication feeds show the most recent ??? items”, “For each article in a feed, show ???”, “For each article in a feed, show Full text Summary”

I have never experienced this before. How can I get back to normal Admin settings? -

That is not a free hosted WordPress>COM blog and we cannot help your here at all. You are posting to the wrong support forum. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.org bloggers.
