Cannot Get My Website to work

  I’m trying to get http://www.whatsjackdoing.com to go to http://www.whatsjackdoing.com/2012/01/04/hello-world/ or at least have this so that it’s a main page all on its own but as you can see http://www.whatsjackdoing.com refuses to acknowledge it even though I installed wordpress on that exact location so what’s the problem? I’m hosted on ipage by the way and bought my domain on godaddy.com

  If you’re not hosted on WordPress.COM, then you’re in the wrong forum and need to be at WordPress.ORG. Our software here is different.

  You cannot set a “post” as the main page of a site.

  Create a “hello world” page, publish it, and then set that as the static front page at settings > reading.
