Cannot get photos from google – unknown user

  Hi,
  I’ve connected my google account to wordpress – it all worked great until today.
  I’m getting the following error:
  error:’servicefail’
  message: ‘Unable to retrieve list – unknown user.’
  code: 403

  I tried logging in and out and connecting/disconnecting my google account, nothing helped.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @gosiakarpala.

  Are you a G Suite user? If you are, the ability to access photos may have been changed by your account administrator.

  If you aren’t using G Suite, you may want to check on the account permissions on the Google side of things. You can access them here:

  https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

  Look for the one called “Photos from Google” with the WordPress logo (the blue W in the circle) next to it.

  Try removing the access from here using the blue “Remove Access” button and then re-connecting from your WordPress Sharing options.

  Let me know if that takes care of it for you. If not we can dig deeper to figure this out.

  Hi gosiakarpala,

  I’ve checked your account and no Google accounts are connected at the moment so please try the following:

  1. Clear your browser cache
  2. Then reconnect your account to Google

  If that doesn’t help, it would be great if you could make a screenshot of the error message and upload it to your Media Library so I can take a look.
