Cannot get rid of 'Home' menu item

I deleted the page titled ‘Home’ and created a page titled ‘About’. The ‘About’ page comes up when you click on my name. But ‘Home’ still appears as a link on the menu bar, with no content appearing if you click on it. Also, strangely, the ‘About’ page doesn’t show up on the pages list in the editor anymore. What’s going on?

You can create a custom menu and include only links to the items you want to display in it.

Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus
