Cannot get to wp-admin ("a few minutes of routine maintenance")
-
Hi there – I’ve been trying to get to my blog tonight and while I can get to the blog itself, I can’t get to the admin dashboard. I’m getting the message “Your server is going through a few minutes of routine maintenance” and it tells me to wait 5 minutes. At this point, though, it’s been about 45 minutes total.
Is this a situation that usually clears up eventually? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It took a couple of hours but the blog came up. The problem is that now I am getting a host of errors. I can’t do a proper import or export, delete files without getting a “Something went wrong” error, etc. Nothing is working properly. Is something going on with wordpress.com lately?

What is the URL of the blog you need help with – the address in your first post has not been updated since 2009 it looks like

That’s the right blog – sbbn.wordpress.com
There are no posts because I’m in the process of trying to clear the blog and import new posts from elsewhere. I only got as far as deleting most (but not all) of the old posts. That’s why it looks like it hasn’t updated in years.
I have no idea what’s going on. The posts that didn’t delete yesterday when I was trying to remove them have now been doubled. That is, on the Dashboard, I see two copies of each post. They both show published, though clearly only one got published.
And when I try to delete posts, I get “Error in moving to trash.”
This all started after the maintenance yesterday.
