Cannot get transfer code

I have requested a transfer code, but have not received it. I cannot access the Domain Contacts section (no fields show up), so have no way to see which email address is associated with the domain. Help!

Thanks, timethief. I read all of those before asking for help here. I can’t even change the name servers – every time I try I get an error message.

That’s too bad but I can do no more than tag the thread for Staff and that’s been done. A Staff member will be able to assist you but it’s a weekend and they have a backlog. So you will have to wait patiently until they work their way forward to this thread.

Just to verify, are you asking about the domain sustainablyqueer.com? If so, that domain is registered over with FastCompany: http://who.is/whois/sustainablyqueer.com
You should be able to unlock the domain and complete the transfer in your account with that company.

hey, i’ve got a very similar issue.
i’m hosting with InMotion, and transferring my registered name (thechroniclesofnavi . com) there as well. i’m not receiving the transfer code via email.
i cannot access the contact email i had been using up until a few hours ago, so i’ve entered in a new email address. still not arriving. should i be waiting more than say 2-3 hours to get the code?
(i have less than a fortnight to begin the transfer, or else i’d have more patience!)

I haven’t received the transfer code to my address on file (bonjournavi at gmail), and it’s also not in the spam folder. You don’t reckon it’s still being sent to the old, inactive yahoo email that was on file?
This is quite odd, isn’t it? :-)

Not odd … it is indeed going to the email with which you registered your domain. I can’t change this for you, but you can adjust the email address by following these steps:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/update-contact-information/You mentioned the email is active…does that mean you can’t access it all anymore? If so, let me know. It will take some additional steps to release your domain, if you cannot confirm the email yourself.

Success! I didn’t know that the domain registration info was separate from my general WP contact info – updated, confirmed, and code received.
