Cannot Hide or Delete Meta Widget
-
Although I have not activated the Meta Widget on the Appearance – Widget screens, it nonetheless appears on posts under categories in the sidebar with “registration” and “log out” elections. I can find no way to overcome this and hide any and meta data.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there – Those are the default widgets that appear until you add your own. To make them go away, drag any widget into the sidebar. If you don’t want any widgets in your sidebar, use a blank Text widget.
Let me know if you have further questions!

Thanks – that worked well. I read about the blank text in your data on the widgets, but it did not make sense in light of my partial success by parking the Meta Widget. I find some of your tech data to be above the lowest common denominator user – like me. Also, I find my earlier version for my other site to be much easier (less complicated) to use.
