Just this minute joined WB and wanted to transfer all previous postings from Blogger as they are having techie type problems in the photo department… after an easy sign up I’m directed to “Import Blogger” and told to seek a “Manage” Tab for starters…. Problem no. one.. no “Manage” Tab exists
Now reading all 22 of the above messages all on the same theme, I’m beginning to feel as if no one loves me anymore! :-((
Practical help please in words of fewest syllables. Thanks….

I really want to move my blog to WordPress from Blogger. during several failed attempts, I repeated got this message:

Has this problem been resolved yet? i a having the exact same issue. Nothing I try is working in order to import my blogger to wordpress…very frustrating…any help would be appreciated!

There is no way I can afford to lose anything here, so as soon as you brilliant techie types find the answer please let us know.

I have found a work-around to migrate content from blogspot.com to wordpress.com. I was able successfully migrate my blog from http://egiceme.blogspot.com to http://egiceme.wordpress.com using this script.

So, we’ll have to go to livejournal, create an account there, export to livejournal, then export from livejournal to wordpress? Wow. If it works, what a hassle if it doesn’t….

I got a reply to an email I sent Support. Here’s what you do, and it’s pretty easy.
1. In Blogger, go to your Settings > Basic > Blog Tools > Export Blog.
2. Click on Download Blog. It’ll save as an .xml file.
3. Go to http://blogger2wordpress.appspot.com/ and find the .xml file and click Convert. It’ll save as a WordPress.xml file.
4. In WordPress, go to Tools > Import > WordPress.
5. Find the WordPress version of the .xml file you just converted and click Upload File and Import.
It worked for me. Hope it helps.
