cannot import images

  i used to be able to drag and drop images directly into new post. the add media button also does nothing. i cannot seem to function here all of a sudden after more than 100 posts. i use classic editor but i cannot even find an alternative method. i updated java, i ran an internet explorer browser besides my usual chrome.

  Hi –

  There’s nothing preventing media uploads from our side. Can you try adding a new media item from https://wordpress.com/media/frfly.wordpress.com It is working for me when I test it out.

  Only 3% of your media storage is used, so that is not the issue.

  Is there any kind of error message popping up? It might be worth rebooting your internet connection to make sure that’s not causing you issues. An unsteady connection can struggle with uploading large image files.

  now its working, i simply drag a jpg into a post with the classic editor like i did hundreds of times before. it was not working for 3-4 days.

  thank you for your reply. i wish i knew what the problem was. these are not really large jpgs. 200-300 kb
