Cannot import posterous blog

  I have attempted to import my posterous blog. I followed all the steps, but when I attempted to download the file, it would not download in the form outlined in your instructions and, therefore, would not upload to my new blog at wordpress. What do I do?

  Did you run into trouble getting the export file from Posterous or importing the file here?

  If it was importing here, would you please quote the error message you saw?

  When I attempt to import, the error message from wordpress was, “The file is not an xml file.” However, the posterous site would not save as an xml file. I tried 4x using the wordpress instructions. No luck.

  Please make sure that you’re following this guide and upload thing wordpress_export_1.xml file.

  Also, try a different browser as mentioned above.
