Cannot like other people's posts

Hi,
About half a hour ago the LIKE button on WP stopped working for me. I tried to LIKE other people’s posts in my Reader, but the button just went back to the original state no matter how many times I clicked it. I wonder if there is a glitch in the system, or am I handling something in a wrong way?

You must be logged into WordPress.COM/Gravatar account o use the “in-house” WordPress.COM like button for WordPress.COM bloggers. In other words, it’s the same here as it is at Facebook and everywhere else there is an “in-house” like button provided for member use only.
If you are logged in and are unable to click a like button on a WordPress.COM hosted blog because it is not an active link please work through what follows and report back.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

4. You can use this link to see if your flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not then go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ and download and install the latest version of flash.
5. Try using another browser.

(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
