Cannot load earlier post beyond second screen.

When I scroll through my blog, the “load more posts” message appears just once. Posts load, but there is no way to scroll beyond the bottom. The load more sign is simply not there anywhere.

I can see the “load more posts” button and I just used it on your blog. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
If you are, please do these four things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
If you are not successful let us know which browser (and version of it) you’re using and post any error reports you get.

Thanks for your reply. Hope I was clear that the Load More Posts message does appear, but only once. After I hit it and scroll to end of second screen of posts there is no button there to hit to continue. I have tried using Safari and Firefox. Same thing happens with both. I had not posted anything for perhaps two months, and when I returned this was what I found.
Some months ago, when this happened for the first time, you pointed me to an adjustment in widgets (as I recall). Before I try emptying caches, etc. and risk losing all because I really do not know what I am doing, is that something you could direct me to again? Thanks.

If you click on your username on the top right of these forums, or if you click on the word under your name on a post you have made, then you will find a list of your previous posts here:

However, there is definitely a problem on your site at the moment, since you have over 300 posts and yet only the first two batches are loading. I’ll have this investigated further and get back to you when I have news.

Thanks so much Kathryn. I hesitate to tinker because I don’t want to lose anything. For what it’s worth, my second blog, Sarahparkeremond.wordpress.com works just fine. It is more recent.

Hi again – thanks for your patience. We’ve done some testing and determined that you should be able to prevent the problem of additional posts not loading by removing the video in this post:
