Cannot locate my my blog Subscribers

    Hi, I have a site called robertdunford.com. This is a blog site. I have been on your platform since I started (long ago) and recently moved my site to a partners servers. The subscriber list did not move with it. How can I find the list of people who were subscribed?

    I have looked everywhere in my WordPress account with no success.

    Please advise.

    Hi Rob,

    What is the URL of your original WordPress.com site? I see robertdunford.com connected to your site via the Jetpack plugin, but no other sites.

    Moving subscribers from a WordPress.com site to a Jetpack connected site is a manual process – it never happens automatically, as subscribers aren’t part of your site itself, but connected to a site ID for your site that exists on WordPress.com’s systems. For the subscribers to appear on the new site, we need to associate them with the Jetpack site ID for your site instead.

    If your Jetpack site belonged to the same account that owns your old WordPress.com site, you could have done this yourself using the tool Jetpack provides for this, but in this case we can do it for you. But we’ll need to know the URL of the old WordPress.com site, and we will need confirmation from the WordPress.com username that owns that site.

    Thank you for your reply. From my account I found the site to be called:

    http://robertdunfordblog.wordpress.com

    How do I provide confirmation for you to move forward?

    This particular site was deleted 2 months ago and has been fully purged, neither the site nor its subscribers can be restored.
