Cannot log at all

I thought I had figured out my problem of the missing dashboard but now later in the day I cannot even log on to my site? I can do it easily in Firefox and Chrome but not Internet Explorer 10. Is there a problem with Windows 7 or IE10? Anyone please?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

But I am not in the UK, and IE10 was working fine until a week ago….

There is apparently another known issue with IE 10. If you’re not using Compatibility mode, try using it. If you are, try not using it. And try the https version of your site.

If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html

I have already checked that, and let me also add that I uninstalled IE 10 to see if that was the culprit. It was not…my problem still exists. Since I can log in with Firefox and Chrome I am really at a loss to explain this. Do you have any other suggestions?

I have tried all of the above…and still cannot log in. So frustrating. It’s annoying having to use a different browser just to answer here. I just do not understand what happened to cause this. I have looked at everything till I am blue in the face, yet suspect there’s one little thing that is amiss. Sorry I am being difficult…

I do not see java script listed in my internet explorer tools, advanced settings. I see 3rd party cookies enabled but not java script?

I see enable active scripting, but nothing that says Java. I do have Java installed however.

Have checked this and it was enabled…. still cannot log on? I have spent close to four hours trying to correct this problem. Any other suggestions please?

Okay, I tried changing my password and was able to log in once, but not a second time. I changed it again and now able to get into the dashboard area which is an improvement. I am not able to get the homepage with dashboard at top however.

This is getting weirder and weirder by the moment. Somehow WP is not saving passwords or something along that line, but it does not explain why I am able to access everything in Firefox or Chrome. The only way I can respond here is to go to Firefox. If try to respond in Internet Explorer I cannot log in….
