We installed Elementor Pro and have not been able to get any updates to upload. After reading the tip on their page, we deactivated all the plugins but Elementor and now we cannot log into our site. We get this error message:
Warning: require_once(zip://#archive): failed to open stream: operation failed in /data/8/1/45/34/1534034/user/1651224/htdocs/wp-includes/template.php on line 790

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘zip://#archive’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php:/usr/services/vux/lib/php’) in /data/8/1/45/34/1534034/user/1651224/htdocs/wp-includes/template.php on line 790

There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

We need to be able to login and reactivate every plugin ASAP.

    Thank you

We can’t help with third party plugins. You must contact Elementor support to solve this problem yourself.

The issue is that we cannot log back into our account on WordPress. The suggestion was to deactivate the other plugins and then refresh the page to see if Elementor was working. After that, we couldn’t get back into our Dashboard. We need help getting back into WordPress.

To avoid any confusion, it’s important to distinguish between three different versions of “WordPress”:

    1. The free, open-source WordPress software that powers your website.
    2. WordPress.org, the open-source project where you can obtain the software for free to use on your chosen hosting provider.
    3. WordPress.com, a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software, which is the platform you are currently contacting.

As your website isn’t hosted with WordPress.com, unfortunately, we’re unable to assist you directly.

I recommend contacting your hosting provider for assistance with this issue. Since they host your site’s files, they’re best equipped to help you diagnose and resolve the problem. If you’re unsure who your hosting provider is, you can use a website like Hosting Checker to find that information: https://hostingchecker.com/

    Hope this helps clarify things!
