Cannot log into Jetpack support from WP.com
-
The issue is completely described in this wordpress.org post #11991955
Logging into Jetpack when I’m logged in to WordPress.com redirects me to WordPress.org support forums rather that directly to Jetpack.
Have tried latest versions of Chrome, Safari, and Opera without success.
Please assist.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The referenced blog that my wordpress.com account is linked to is actually:

Hi there,
I read the thread on the Jetpack forums. Can you please share two to three email addresses whom you know they did not received your posts?
Make sure to type each email into a separate line and our forum software will redact them from public view leaving them only visible to us.

Sorry for not noticing this sooner. While Jetpack is properly working on your site, I neglected to notice that the Subscriptions module is switched off.
From Jetpack > Settings > Discussion in your site’s Dashboard, switch on “Let visitors subscribe to new posts and comments via email.”

Thanks for noticing. I thought something might been overlooked on my part but I always used a widget for subscribers and could not find where to check otherwise: whether via Settings>Discussion in the site dashboard or in the Manage>Settings in the wordpress.org dashboard. Neither, apparently.
I did check Jetpack>Discussions but since comments are always turned OFF, and people were already subscribed, it seemed like the dialog box you mentioned was solely used if Comments were ON. Otherwise, why list Subscriptions under Discussion??
(My subscriber widget was on for 8 years – no reason to think re-connecting to Jetpack after a spontaneous disconnection would turn it off by default.)
I’m glad this is sorted but I’m sorry we all had to spend so much time on it (at least I had to).
For me, this is a UI failure. There are too many features sandboxed in three different dashboards. As a WP user for about 13 years, I think it’s legit to say it is difficult to navigate three dashboards with similar listed categories but having slightly different capabilities.
End of rant.
Many thanks for your prompt attention on both forums!
The only open question is why I can’t log into Jetpack support when already logged into wordpress.com.

I suspect you may have something that’s blocking third-party cookies or cross-site trackers in your browser.
Those are becoming a bit common, and we use WordPress.com’s login system on Jetpack.com, so that is indeed both a third-party cookie and a cross-site tracker, though not a malicious one of course.
-
I had Chrome blocking third party cookies. I suspect that was the case with the settings on my other browsers.
By default I’ll continue to block 3rd party cookies until I need to contact Jetpack again. :)
Many thanks!
