Hi @juliette62,
It sounds like you’re facing a challenge with the 2FA page when logging into your WordPress account.
If so, let’s try these steps!
- Are you using the correct email address?
- You may have signed up with a different email address, so try logging in with all possible email addresses you may have used.
- Is your password correct?
- If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it using the lost password option on the login screen. This will send you an email with a link to reset your password.
- Are you already logged into the correct account?
- If you notice any content missing from your settings, you may have created or logged into a different account by mistake. Check your Account Settings page, and if it seems incorrect, log out then try logging into the correct account.
- Does your account have two-step authentication?
- If you have enabled two-step authentication but are not receiving an SMS with the login code, use a backup code or try these login troubleshooting steps.
- Clear Your Browser Cache and Cookies
- This simple step can often resolve unexpected behavior with login forms or pages that get stuck.
- Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then reload the page and attempt logging in again.
- Try a Different Browser or Device
- Sometimes, browser extensions or specific settings can cause issues. Switching to a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari) or device can help rule out a browser-specific problem.
- Check Browser Extensions
- Disable any browser extensions temporarily, particularly those related to ad-blocking, pop-ups, or security, as they may cause some interferences.
- Use a Private/Incognito Window
- Open a private or incognito window in your browser and attempt the login process again.
- Reset your password
If the above does not work, follow this Account Recovery guide.
Best of luck!
