Cannot login, please help

Hi, any of the WP admins around here!
I lost the password for my WP.com site. When I use the reset password function or the send me a login link function, the mail WP generates never reaches me. Maybe it goes to a mail address that has since been deleted. I also don’t have any details such as transaction codes etc as this is an older, cost free site. So I am currently without any way of regaining access to my site.
However, I can easily prove that it is indeed my site. It promotes my novel, my name is on the book cover as well as in legal information sections of the site. So my question is: Can you provide me with a new login?

Thanks for that! The site is tied to a different WordPress.com user account than the one you’re currently logged into. If you don’t recall the account you set up, please send an email to passwordhelp@wordpress.com explaining the situation, and we’ll see if there’s anything we can do for you.

Hi, I did what you suggested on February 18 and sent them a mail explaining the whole thing. Didn’t receive a reply so I sent it again today. Still I need to login, so please help.

This is getting a little frustrating now. The last mail I received from your staff member zinnia on 2/21 was,
“Thank you. I have prioritized this in our email queue so our team can help you get sorted out in private versus this public forum.”
Okay, and prioritized sounds very good but I cannot reply to zinnia or anyone else by mail and nothing is happening.
I’m all for solving this via mail instead of in a public forum, but there needs to be someone available there, otherwise it’s pointless. So again I’m kindly asking you to help me with the login to my website.

I’ve reached out to the email address connected to the account owner to help move this forward.

Hi Adam Leone, as I wrote before: that email adress you reached out to obviously no longer exists, and it seems to be the reason I cannot solve this problem myself. Otherwise I’d be able to just use “email me a login link” or “reset password” .
You can easily help me by just emailing me a new login to the following mail address: (email visible only to moderators and staff). As I explained before, it belongs to the account owner (me), who also happens to be the author of the novel featured in the website. Alternatively, you can use (email visible only to moderators and staff), which is the email given in the “Datenschutz” section of the website (and obviously also belongs to me, the account owner).

Hi, unfortunately the fact that one of these email addresses appears on the site itself isn’t something that can be used for our system to verify ownership; in general the proof of ownership we can use to help you recover access to the account are listed here:
https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-formThis also means we are not able to email you a new login to the email addresses you’ve mentioned above.
Since you mentioned that the account may be related to a deleted email address, would you have any way to recreate that email address, in order to receive the password reset?

I don’t have any of the 3 kinds of proof that your account recovery form demands. Whereas it should be self-evident that I am the account owner: I am the author of that novel in the website and my email (email visible only to moderators and staff) is given on that very site. What I cannot understand is, why can you not use this evidence to send me a new login?
Also, I think I cannot recreat the original email address the account was connected to, because that domain doesn’t exist anymore (supposing it was (email visible only to moderators and staff)). If I guessed that email address right, then you have additional proof that I am the owner of the account in question. I don’t know what more I can tell you? I mean, it *must* be possible for you to act on that information….
