Cannot login since deactivating plugin

Hi,
Urgent help needed!
I was unable to publish a new post and so I followed some advice and began deactivating plugins.
The first plugin I deactivated was a security plugin – I forget the name – but having done that, I now cannot even login.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Once I’m able to login, I will probably then install a basic editor plugin so that hopefully I can at least publish posts.
