  Cannot login to WordPress.com blog due to error message

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I can no longer access the admin login of my blog, I keep getting err message 101 saying ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. I can access the site from my iPhone but cannot on the computer. The settings of our network have not changed and I have tried reloading the page and shutting down/ restarting the computer.

  Hi there – who is your internet service provider and where are you located (city/country)? Did this just start today?

  What browser are you using? Can you please check if you can log into your blog from another browser – for example, if you use Safari, try it in Chrome and let me know if you get the same error. This will help us narrow down what might be causing this.

  This has been going on for several weeks now and I can connect from my laptop using the WIFI in the building, and on my phone. I have checked to see if it will work using Internet Explorer (we generally use Chrome) and I cannot get it to open with any other browser either.

  I contacted our group’s IT and asked if we had changed any of our settings or privacy blocks or anything and they said no, that it was a change with Word Press (?)

  Hi there – so you are having trouble connecting through a work network, but not through a wifi connection? Do you have this problem from your home connection?

  That is correct. I do not have any problems connecting anywhere else except on the work network. When I asked our IT support they said it was something that WP had changed and our network would not support it because it was too insecure.

  We take security of WordPress.com very seriously. If your IT staff believe our system to not meet their standards, we welcome them to contact us via http://automattic.com/security/

  In the meantime, if they have a firewall or other security settings that prevent you from logging in while at work, there’s not much more we can do to assist you.
