Cannot login to my WordPress account to edit my site

Alrighty. So, I have a WordPress site right now. Let’s say it’s ‘blue.com’. I am starting a new company called ‘red’ and I want to re-design the website for blue.com then re-name it ‘red.com’. I purchased the domain name ‘red.com’ then signed into WordPress to change the blue to red.com. After doing this, WordPress won’t let me access blue.com (now red.com) to edit the site. How can I rectify this? Thanks everyone :)

You’re not peaking of a site hosted with us on WordPress.com, so we’re not able to help with this.
Please see if you’re able to fix this yourself using the documentation for the open source WordPress software with which your site is built.

Else you will likely need to contact support at your hosting provider so they can help you fix this via your hosting control panel with them.

I’m having similar trouble with a site I was added as an admin user for, jhanley2020.com. The site admin added me as a User, AdminCRM and I received a link in an email to login. When I attempted to login, I was redirected from the site’s wp-admin to the following address https://wordpress.com/log-in?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.com%2Fwp-login.php%3Faction%3Djetpack-sso%26site_id%3D162233909%26sso_nonce%3Ds2cmbyh72aoffuckhwfk
Nothing I do can access the site’s wp-admin. Please advise.

That site is hosted with us on our Business Plan, and I don’t see your account added as a user to that site, nor do I see any invitations in our system for your account.
Only an existing WordPress.com username account can be added to that site, and while the username AdminCRM does exist on our system, that account was created in 2012, and based on the email address and name we have on file for the account owner, it’s not the same person as you. I also don’t see any invitations from the site to that account.
If the site owner tried adding you from the Users section in WP-Admin, that won’t work. The only way to add users to a WordPress.com site is from My Site ->Manage ->People ->Invite, and they’ll have to invite you via the email address or username of an existing WordPress.com account that you have access to.
Please ask the site owner to try adding you that way instead, and to contact live chat support directly at https://wordpress.com/help/contact if they run into any trouble with that.
